As part of the project “Empowering Artisans – Promoting the Economy of Local Communities,” supported by the German Embassy in Tirana and implemented by “Refleksione” in the Municipality of Lushnja, Meliha Zyberaj, an experienced master craftswoman of the National Chamber of Handicrafts and head of the association “Artisans of Vau Dejës,” conducted a workshop with women and young female artisans of the municipality. The workshop focused on traditional handcraft techniques and their transmission to the younger generation, with a special emphasis on new silk weaving techniques on the loom.
