The Tripartite Exchange Seminar (TES2026) brought together representatives from EU enlargement countries, including Albania, to strengthen cooperation, exchange experiences and promote social dialogue in the context of digital transformation.
One of the key sessions focused on “Social Dialogue and the Digital Transition in an Enlarged EU”, featuring Liina Carr (DG EMPL), Monika Pozderac (Croatia) and Koli Sinjari (Albania). Discussions highlighted the role of social dialogue in the European integration process and the challenges posed by digitalisation and artificial intelligence.
The Albanian contribution emphasised the importance of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) and its implications for businesses, public institutions and social partners. The discussion underlined that candidate countries face the dual challenge of strengthening social dialogue in line with EU standards while ensuring a human-centred approach to digital transformation and AI development.
TES2026 was organised through the joint efforts of Eurofound, Cedefop, EU-OSHA and the European Training Foundation (ETF), with the support of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), demonstrating the value of inter-agency cooperation in supporting social dialogue and managing digital and AI-driven transitions.
