On 20–21 June 2026, textile artisans gathered in Korça for a two-day activity focused on inspiration, exchange, and collaboration for the future.
On the first day, the group visited the newly opened EtnoArt Museum, created by artisan Lirika Pojani. The museum beautifully showcases the history, identity, and craftsmanship of traditional garments from the Korça region. It represents a powerful cultural legacy that also contributes to the region’s attractiveness for tourism.
During the visit, Lirika shared her personal journey and the story behind the museum’s creation, demonstrating how passion and dedication can be transformed into a lasting contribution to cultural heritage preservation and local tourism development.
The second day focused on shaping the future vision of the group. Through reflection and group work, participants exchanged ideas and continued developing the mission, vision, and values towards a future association of textile artisans. The discussions highlighted the importance of learning from inspiring examples, strengthening professional cooperation among women artisans, and encouraging mutual learning and inspiration within the community.
This activity, organized within the framework of the project, marks another important step towards empowerment, cooperation, the promotion of cultural heritage, and the development of sustainable cultural tourism linked to textile artisan traditions.
